Parkrun Tourism

Parkrun is a free, community event where you can walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate. Parkrun is 5k and takes place every Saturday morning.

Every month Quakers parkrun tourism visits a different parkrun. We meet at 8:30 to have a group photo at 8:45, some members wear a Quaker top, this helps in making us easily recognisable to each other.

As part of the parkrun tourism adventuring, we try to plan a variety of parkruns from trail to road and from small to big. There should be something to suit everyone.

Bring your friends, family and dog, everyone is welcome.

You can run, walk or volunteer and we always all go together for coffee and cake and a chat afterwards.

If you haven’t tried parkrun tourism yet, give us a go. We are a really friendly bunch and it’s a great way of meeting new members.
