Well done everyone for the running you have done in the last quarter of 2023. Whether it was a social run with friends, Club training or taking part in the many events that there has been.
Our members have some brilliant achievements again this quarter with volunteering, parkrun milestones and the it isn’t an official milestone but deserves recognition, age category placements and top 10 finishers.
The results are in for the Club Championship 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 1st in the opposite sex for the Joyeux trophy.
The 10k leagues had some exciting conclusions with the winner being decided at the last event. The leagues are great and anyone who would like to do 10ks should look out for the 2024 list of events. Many of them are small events in villages which are so friendly with runners of all abilities. As you are placed in a league with a small number of our club members who run at the same speed as yourself it means you are running for points with people of the same ability. It’s really good fun and you get to know the friendly people in your group.
